The Nova Folk Instruments Ensemble of the Naregatsi Art Institute, under the artistic supervision of RA Honored Worker of Culture Hovik Sahakyan, continues their concert tour of folk music.

On April 27th the ensemble was in Stepanavan Art School and filled the hall with the sounds of folk instruments and inspired the audience with their warmth. Before the concert, H. Sahakyan held a master class with the students of the school.

According to St. Sargis Church Priest Ter Ghazar the folk instruments in the hands of the Nova musicians are enlivened and get a new breath, and they seem to show the world that Armenians have been, are and will be.

Anush Kharakeshishyan, director of the Stepanavan Culture House, expressed her gratitude to H. Sahakyan and Naregatsi Art Institute for the amazing performance of the wonderful teens.

After the concert they handed Stepanavan Mayor’s certificates of appreciation to H. Sahakyan and Naregatsi Art Institute.
