Creative Evening at NAI

The Naregatsi Art Institute hosted the creative evening of the RA Honored Worker of Art, YSC Professor, composer Narine Zarifyan.
The Narine Zarifyan's collection of "Songs and Jazz Ballads" was presented to the attendees at the event.

The vocal, choral and instrumental works of the composer were performed by the RA Honored Artist, Associate Professor of YSC Emma Petrosyan (vocal), Associate Professor of YSC Lusine Kchozyan (vocal), the ARAR Choir (Artistic Director, conductor: Gor Melkumyan), Nova Folk Instruments Ensemble (conductor: Helbert Asatryan), the students of the Jazz and Popular Music Faculty of Komitas Yerevan State Conservatory.

Composer, pianist, public figure, educator, professor Narine Zarifyan has been teaching composition, instrumentation, improvisation in the Jazz and Popular Music Faculty of the YSC since 1998. She creates in the genres of symphonic, chamber, vocal, pop, jazz, folk, symphonic-pop music.

In 2019 she was appointed Head of Jazz and Popular Music Faculty of YSC.
